Trainee Solicitors
We are inviting applications for a training contract to start in September 2028. The deadline for applications is 28th February 2027.
Applicants will be required to have completed the LPC or SQE 1 before commencing a training contract with the firm.

Following a review of all submitted applications, selected applicants will be invited to attend an initial interview in early April.
Those applicants who are shortlisted from the initial interview process will be invited to attend an assessment day with the firm. Assessment days usually take place in May and will give applicants an opportunity to meet the wider Clarke Mairs team. At the assessment days, applicants will be given tasks to complete in two of the firm’s departments and final interviews will take place.
We will make training contract offers to successful candidates as soon as possible after the conclusion of the assessment days.
