A business seminar which aims to help companies address current HR issues is being staged by Clarke Mairs and Robson Laidler Accountants on Thursday 5 June from 9.30-11am at Jesmond Dene House in Jesmond.
The breakfast briefing, which is free to attend, will include topics such as how to bring about a quick but fair dismissal for an employee, information on the new workplace pension schemes, and the Employment Allowance saving, following a recent survey which showed that only one in five employers are aware of this saving.
Speakers will include Lee Betchley, employment law solicitor at Clarke Mairs as well as Amanda Cowie, wealth manager and Martin Wardle, tax partner at Robson Laidler.
Lee Betchley, solicitor at Clarke Mairs, said: “We are delighted to be pooling resources with Robson Laidler to stage an informative event for existing clients and new contacts too. We understand the demands of businesses and plan to make the session as informative as possible to take the stress away from employers. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to network in the beautiful surroundings of Jesmond Dene House.”
