Clarke Mairs is pleased to announce another significant milestone in the growth of the Orwins group, with the investment in Yorkshire law firm Milners and the acquisition of specialist London practice Roe Lawyers.

Having joined Orwins earlier this year, we have already seen the benefits of being part of a larger group of like-minded law firms. This latest development further expands the expertise, geographic reach and specialist capabilities available across the wider organisation.

Milners brings a long-established presence across Yorkshire with expertise spanning corporate, commercial, litigation, employment, property, family and private client law. Roe Lawyers adds highly regarded capabilities in criminal and regulatory law under the leadership of founder Stephanie Roe.

These additions reflect Orwins’ continued commitment to bringing together firms that share common values, strong client relationships and an entrepreneurial approach to legal services.

For Clarke Mairs clients, the news reinforces the strength of the broader platform now supporting our Newcastle team. While our local relationships and trusted advice remain at the heart of what we do, clients can also benefit from access to a growing network of specialists nationwide.

Orwins, backed by Aliter Capital, now employs around 250 people and continues to invest in building a modern, full-service legal services group serving businesses, entrepreneurs and private individuals throughout the UK.

We look forward to welcoming our new colleagues and working together to deliver even greater value for clients across the group.
