Building a great careerA team of new recruits is climbing the career ladder at Clarke Mairs.
We have recruited a number of new employees to support the expansion of our commercial property division, which helps businesses and individuals with the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold properties, financing and investment portfolios. Coleen Mclaughlin, from Kip Hill, joins the firm as personal assistant to senior partner Tim Clarke and brings with her 20 years of experience in the legal and private sectors. Alison Dance from Prudhoe has also been employed as personal assistant to commercial property partner Gillian Bassett. She will be liaising with many of our clients including private and corporate landlords, banks and funders, property developers, investors and tenants. Grace Tiffin from Jarrow is also a new recruit and joins the firm as a trainee solicitor, having graduated in Law from the University of Essex before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Northumbria. She is also being sponsored to study her Professional Skills Course later in the year. She said: “I like Clarke Mairs’ refreshing approach to legal services and I’m really pleased to be part of the team. Everyone at the firm is very welcoming and there’s a warm, positive working environment. Once they offered me the position, I was delighted to accept.” Tim Clarke, senior partner at Clarke Mairs, who has worked in commercial property law for the past 22 years said: “We’re pleased that in the current climate we are able to strengthen our team. The calibre of applicants has been very high”. Clarke Mairs is a commercial law firm based on Market Street that offers legal services to businesses and individuals nationwide with services including commercial property, insolvency, company and employment. The firm was set up two years ago. |
